American Online Jobs Review – Is This Platform Another Scam?

Are you looking for an online job that allows you to work from home? Have you heard about American Online Jobs and wonder if it’s the real deal? Before you sign up and waste your time, read this article to know what American Online Jobs is all about and whether it’s worth your while.

What is American Online Jobs?

First things first, American Online Jobs is not a job portal that offers real employment opportunities. Despite its name and the pre-screening questionnaire on its homepage, the site does not have any job listings that you can apply for. Instead, the site redirects you to survey panels and GPT (get-paid-to) sites, which are legitimate but not a source of stable income.

The main purpose of American Online Jobs is to refer users to these third-party sites and earn a commission every time they complete a survey or offer. In other words, American Online Jobs is an affiliate marketer that promotes other companies’ products and services to its audience. While there is nothing inherently wrong with this business model, the problem lies in how American Online Jobs presents itself as a job portal and gives users false expectations.

How Does it Work?

When you visit American Online Jobs’ homepage, you will be asked to fill out a pre-screening questionnaire that aims to make you believe that you’re applying for a job. However, there are no job descriptions, company information, or terms and conditions on the site, which raises a red flag for transparency. Moreover, the site doesn’t have a privacy policy, which is another sign of untrustworthiness.

Once you click on the “apply” button, you will be directed to a survey site, such as Global Test Market, where you can sign up to receive survey invitations. The pay for each survey usually ranges from $0.50 to $2, which is relatively low considering the time and effort required. Furthermore, you may spend several minutes answering qualifying questions only to find out that you’re not eligible for the survey, which can be frustrating.

In addition to survey sites, American Online Jobs also recommends a GPT platform called InboxDollars, where you can complete surveys and offers for cash. The site also lists eight other survey sites, including Toluna, MySurvey, SurveyVoices, OpinionOutpost, Opinion City, e-Poll, and Pinecone Research. Again, these sites are not scams, but they’re not a viable source of income either.

Promised Income

If you decide to sign up for American Online Jobs, you will be promised a weekly income of $300 to $700+ after completing the training. However, the site doesn’t provide any information about what the training entails or what you’ll be doing to earn that amount. After providing your name and email address, you’ll be redirected to the member training area, which consists of nine video lessons.

The Training

The video lessons cover basic concepts of affiliate marketing, such as referral marketing, and how to promote your referral links. The training also teaches you how to advertise on social media platforms like Facebook, YouTube, Pinterest, Instagram, and Craigslist. However, the lessons are superficial and not well-structured, which may not be helpful for beginners who have no prior knowledge of affiliate marketing.

At the end of the training, American Online Jobs will provide you with a referral link to promote their site. However, there is no compensation plan for promoting the site, which means that you won’t earn any commission for referring others to the site. This fact makes promoting American Online Jobs pointless since the site only generates commissions as an affiliate marketer, not as an MLM (multi-level marketing) program.

Are you looking for a legitimate work-from-home job that pays well? Look elsewhere because American Online Jobs isn’t one. Many people get lured into thinking that they are applying for a real job, but unfortunately, they are not.

American Online Jobs has a pre-screening questionnaire on its homepage, which may give you the impression that you are applying for a legitimate job. However, this is far from the truth. There are no job openings on the site, and you won’t get hired by any company.

How Much Money Can You Make?

In reality, there is no money to be made directly from American Online Jobs. They funnel users to third-party survey sites to earn commissions, just like SurveyCompare and SurveySpotter. The amount of money you can make with surveys and offers varies greatly, but personally, I never made over $50 per month.

If you’re looking to earn extra cash, you can use the unique referral links you automatically get when you join other survey sites. These other sites will pay you to promote them, but still, I don’t recommend using paid advertising because the commission is very small.

American Online Jobs is not a job website, and it is not an online job agency. It is merely a website that directs users to survey panels and get-paid-to sites, which pay a small amount of money for completing surveys and offers. The website’s misleading name and pre-screening questionnaire create false expectations of finding a job, but in reality, you won’t get hired by any company.

Additionally, the website encourages members to promote it without any compensation plan, making it a waste of time and money. While it is possible to make some money by completing surveys and offers on third-party sites, the income potential is low. Therefore, if you are looking for a legitimate way to earn a full-time income from home, American Online Jobs is not the answer.
